Проект стал важной вехой в развитии серии, поскольку разработчики уделили особое внимание улучшению сюжетной составляющей для привлечения западной аудитории.

Сюжет игры разворачивается вокруг экспедиции, исследующей влияние древнего дракона на окружающий мир. Главный герой, оказавшись на неизведанной территории после крушения корабля, присоединяется к исследовательскому лагерю. История развивается через серию миссий, где игроку предстоит охотиться на различных монстров и раскрывать тайны этого загадочного мира. Хотя повествование не является сильной стороной игры, Capcom вложила значительные ресурсы в качественные сюжетные ролики на движке, делая каждую встречу с новым монстром настоящим событием.

Игровой процесс построен вокруг охоты на разнообразных существ, каждое из которых обладает уникальными способностями и требует особого подхода. В распоряжении игрока есть огромный арсенал оружия и брони, которые можно создавать и улучшать в специальной кузнице. Каждая миссия длится около 50 минут, предоставляя достаточно времени для исследования обширных локаций, сбора ресурсов и охоты на монстров.

Особенностью игры является система исследования местности. В начале игрок исследует территорию, собирая следы и материалы, которые затем передает ученым в штабе. По мере накопления данных о монстрах, охота становится проще – на карте появляются специальные светлячки, указывающие путь к следам существ. При этом систему навигации можно отключить, если игрок предпочитает самостоятельные поиски.

Монстры в игре представлены в огромном разнообразии – от существ с каменной броней до электрически заряженных созданий. Каждый бой требует особого тактического подхода и понимания слабостей противника. Игра предлагает множество способов взаимодействия с монстрами – от прямой атаки до поимки.

ПК-версия игры получила ряд уникальных преимуществ. Игроки могут полностью настраивать графику под свои системные требования, выбирая оптимальное сочетание качества и производительности. Поддерживается как управление с клавиатуры и мыши, так и с помощью геймпада. Локализация включает качественный русский перевод.

Одной из сильных сторон игры является кооперативный режим, позволяющий объединять усилия до четырех охотников для выполнения заданий. При этом игра отлично подходит и для одиночного прохождения – можно выполнять сюжетные миссии, создавать экипировку и исследовать мир в своем темпе.

Monster Hunter: World отличается глубоким геймплеем, рассчитанным на сотни часов игры. В игре представлено множество дополнительных заданий, расследований, поручений и арен. Система крафта позволяет создавать разнообразные виды оружия и брони, а система улучшения дает возможность адаптировать снаряжение под свой стиль игры.

Визуально игра впечатляет детализированными локациями и потрясающей проработкой каждого монстра. Звуковое сопровождение, включая эпическую музыку и качественный озвучивание, создает нужную атмосферу во время сражений. Несмотря на некоторые ограничения в кооперативном прохождении сюжетной кампании, общая реализация многопользовательского компонента находится на высоком уровне.

Monster Hunter: World представляет собой масштабный проект с огромным количеством контента, увлекательным геймплеем и глубокой системой развития персонажа.
